Madeleine Websdale

I have spent the last 3 years working on my Painting, Drawing and Printmaking degree at Plymouth College of Art. During this time, I have discovered an increasing interest in making and using natural inks. The patterns made by these inks when they flow over paper has been fascinating and ever-changing. The influence of observing  this colour play has been inspiring and has prompted me to make my own screen printing inks so that the colours can marble and interact with one another on a different plane. I am currently exploring these new and exciting avenues that have opened up within my practice.
